The Matrix LED wall sconce is a tall, 12 cm wide wall light made of bubble-effect acrylic rods mounted on a metal body. The series has two models: the 58 cm Matrix 8 and the 63 cm Matrix Melodi. Both are hardwired; body colour is gold or silver and light is warm light or white light. Its long body makes it a focal point on its own in high-ceilinged living rooms, stairwells and wide hallway walls. Below: both models, suitable walls and mounting.
In short: Matrix 8 is 58 cm and Matrix Melodi 63 cm tall; both are 12 cm wide and hardwired. Melodi has bubbled crystal rods reaching up and down from a glossy metal hub and ships assembled, ready to mount. According to the product details, both have 48 LEDs. Body is gold or silver, light warm or white.
Matrix is made of bubble-effect acrylic rods on a metal body; when lit, the bubbles sparkle, and when off, the sconce stays on the wall as a decorative object. Glossy metal details reflect light around them, while the long body stresses the wall's vertical line.
The size difference is height: Matrix 8 is 58 cm, Matrix Melodi 63 cm. Melodi is also defined by rods reaching in two directions from a glossy metal hub.

Matrix's 58–63 cm height sits in proportion in rooms with ceilings of 270 cm and above, in stairwells and on wide walls. In a small, low-ceilinged room this length can feel heavy; a 39 cm Aura or a 40 cm series balances better there.
For centre height and spacing, see our wall sconce height and placement guide.
A gold body suits warm, wood and beige décor; a silver body balances grey, white and marble-effect surfaces.
Matrix has no black or anthracite body; for those colours, see the Aura and Bubbleflux series.
Matrix connects to the wall line, so we recommend a qualified electrician for mounting.
Before drilling, try Matrix on a photo of your own wall with See it in your room; check proportions with the light on and off, then mark the point with a tape measure.
Matrix, with its 58–63 cm height and rods, is a series for large walls; Aura is 39–56 cm with five columns, Bubbleflux 31–51 cm with a wide body. Matrix is hardwired only and has no remote. For a battery model, see Aura and Bubbleflux; for dimming by remote or RGB light, see Bubbleflux.
Matrix 8 is 58 cm and Matrix Melodi 63 cm tall; both are 12 cm wide. Melodi is defined by bubbled crystal rods reaching up and down from a glossy metal hub, and it ships assembled and ready to mount. Body, light colour and hardwired operation are the same.
No, the Matrix series is hardwired only and connects to the wall line. Have a qualified electrician connect it and switch off the fuse first. If there is no line and you want a cable-free option, look at the battery models in the Aura, Bubbleflux or Bubblelight series.
According to the product details, Matrix models have 3 × 16, or 48 LEDs. The LEDs are integrated and the light shows along the acrylic rods. You choose warm light or white light; Matrix has no RGB or remote option.
Matrix comes in gold and silver. Gold balances wood and warm-toned décor; silver suits grey, white and marble-effect surfaces. For a black or anthracite body, the Aura and Bubbleflux series offer those colours. Choose by the metal details already in the room.
Yes. Alongside living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and corridors, Matrix's listed uses include hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices and showrooms. If you plan several sconces, sketch the layout to the wall's measurements first and set the outlet positions with your electrician.
In most homes the sconce centre sits 150–170 cm from the floor; move towards the upper value as the ceiling rises. On stairs, measure from the nosing of the step beside it rather than the floor. Keep at least 40 cm between the top of the sconce and the ceiling.
