The Bubblelight LED wall sconce draws a vertical line of light on the wall with its slim 4.5 cm metal body and solid, bubble-effect acrylic candle. It comes in three sizes: Small 31 cm, Medium 40 cm and Large 51 cm; at 5 cm deep, it barely projects in hallways and on narrow walls. You choose the body colour (gold, silver, anthracite or black), light colour (warm light or white light) and power source (battery or hardwired). Below: the design, sizes by room, body colour by décor, and battery versus hardwired.
In short: Bubblelight is BACKHOME's slim-bodied series: 4.5 cm wide, 5 cm deep. 31 cm is a sound start for bedheads and low ceilings, 40 cm for hallways and corridors, 51 cm above a sofa or console. The battery model has 12 LEDs, the hardwired model 18. There is no remote; the battery model uses an on/off switch.
Bubblelight is a vertical design of solid acrylic decorative candle visible on both sides of a slim metal body; when lit, the bubbles in the acrylic sparkle and a fine line of light runs along the body. Being slim, it takes little space and leaves a vertical trace of light.
The short size suits low ceilings and bedheads, the tall size a living room wall. The table shows each size and its typical spot.

| Large | 51 × 4.5 × 5 cm | Above a sofa or console, living room wall, stair landing | 260 cm and above |
Product pages: Bubblelight Small 31 cm, Bubblelight Medium 40 cm and Bubblelight Large 51 cm. Keep at least 40 cm between the top of the sconce and the ceiling; for centre heights and spacing, see our wall sconce height guide.
The 4.5 cm body works on narrow strips of wall and in passageways where a wider sconce will not fit.
Choose body colour by the room's metal and wood details rather than the wall; matching door handles, mirror frames and furniture legs ties the room together.
Light colour changes the look too: warm light feels soft, white light crisp and modern. We explain which tone suits which room in our warm light or white light guide.
With no line in the wall, choose battery; for long daily use, choose hardwired. The battery model has 12 LEDs, an on/off switch and a 9V battery, with 1 battery supplied. Battery life depends on usage and brand; the brand recommends the hardwired model for continuous use. The hardwired model has 18 LEDs, runs on 110–220 V mains, needs no bulb or adaptor and connects to the wall line. Have a qualified electrician connect it and switch off the fuse first. Both fix with 2 screws and wall plugs; check for cables and pipes before drilling.
To frame a focal point, fit two Bubblelights of the same size and body colour symmetrically. With a mirror, headboard, console or picture at the centre, the eye reads them as a pair; measure from the centre of that object, not the wall corner. In a corridor, even spacing is enough; most homes leave 200–300 cm between sconces. Repeating one size looks tidier than mixing sizes on one wall. Before drilling, try two sconces side by side on your wall photo with See it in your room, then mark the exact point with a tape measure.
Both series share the same sizes (31, 40 and 51 cm); they differ in body width and options. Bubblelight leaves a fine line with its 4.5 cm body and comes in warm or white light. Bubbleflux sconces have a 12 cm wide body, single, Dubble and Trio models, RGB light and remote-controlled hardwired options. Choose Bubblelight for narrow walls, corridors and a quiet look; Bubbleflux for a bolder surface of light or colour.
Three: Small 31 cm, Medium 40 cm and Large 51 cm. In every size the body is 4.5 cm wide and 5 cm deep. Choose by ceiling height and the furniture in front; leaving at least 40 cm between the top of the sconce and the ceiling keeps the proportions right.
The battery Bubblelight has 12 LEDs, the hardwired Bubblelight 18. The LEDs are integrated, so no bulb or adaptor is needed and there are no bulbs to change. The battery model uses an on/off switch and a 9V battery, with 1 battery supplied. The hardwired model runs on 110–220 V mains.
31 cm usually suits low-ceilinged bedrooms and bedheads, 40 cm hallways, corridors and mirrors, and 51 cm a sofa, console or living room wall. If unsure, cut a paper template to the sconce size, tape it to the wall and look at it from different angles for a few days.
No, the Bubblelight series has no remote option. The battery model uses an on/off switch; plan switching for the hardwired model with your electrician when connecting the line. To dim by remote or change colour, see the Bubbleflux series with remote-controlled hardwired options and RGB light.
Wipe the metal body and acrylic candle with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and hard sponges on acrylic, as they can scratch. Switch off the hardwired model before cleaning. With no bulb inside, care is usually just regular dusting.
Bubblelight fixes to the wall with 2 screws and wall plugs. After marking the spot, check for electric cables and water pipes with a detector before drilling. On the hardwired model, the sconce sits over the wall outlet; have a qualified electrician connect it and switch off the fuse first.
