How to install

1. Mark the position: the centre usually sits 150–170 cm from the floor; space a pair equally from the object between them.
2. Hardwired model, switch off the breaker: have a qualified electrician make the connection.
3. Check the wall: scan for cables and pipes before drilling.
4. Battery model, insert the battery: fit the 9V battery supplied.
5. Fix it: secure with 2 screws and check it is plumb; on a tall body even a slight tilt shows.
