Nova TV side LED sconces are a twin set with acrylic crystal rods, designed to sit either side of a television. Each box holds two sconces, and both models are 73 cm long and 8 cm wide. The difference between Nova 815 and Nova 830 is rod thickness: 15 mm on the 815, 30 mm on the 830. You choose the body colour (gold, silver, anthracite or black), light colour (warm light or white light) and power source (battery or hardwired). Below we compare both models, the box contents and wall matching.
In short: Nova 815 leaves a light line with its slim 15 mm rod; Nova 830 a bolder column of light with its 30 mm rod. Both measure 73 × 8 cm and come with two sconces, 4 screws and 4 wall plugs. The battery option includes 2 × 9V batteries. Nova sets have no remote.
Nova is a twin sconce series for the sides of a TV unit, reflecting light from an acrylic crystal rod onto the wall behind. With the screen off you see two slim vertical lines of light; with it on, they give the room soft ambient light. As a set, both sides arrive in the same body colour and light tone. It is designed for TV unit sides, decorative TV back panels and living spaces.
The only difference in size is rod thickness; length, width, colours and power options are the same.

On a simple TV wall Nova 815 usually looks more balanced; on a wide or textured wall, Nova 830. Rod thickness sets the visual weight: a slim rod stays behind the screen, a thick rod turns the wall itself into a focal point.
Every Nova box holds two sconces, 4 mounting screws and 4 wall plugs; the battery option also includes 2 × 9V batteries.
You do not order each side separately. On plasterboard or hollow panels, use plugs suited to that surface.
With no line in the wall, choose battery Nova; if the TV wall has an outlet or one will be added during renovation, choose hardwired. The battery model has an on/off switch and works straight away with the 9V battery from the box; battery life depends on usage and brand. The hardwired model connects to the wall line and runs on mains power. Have a qualified electrician connect it, switch off the fuse first and check for cables and pipes before drilling. For long evenings, hardwired is more practical.
Match the body colour to the TV unit and screen frame, and the light colour to your evenings.
Warm light creates a cosy setting for film nights; white light gives a modern, crisp and airy wall.
Nova sconces are fixed with the screws and plugs in the box, measuring from the screen centre rather than the wall corner. Fit them 15–30 cm from the screen edge, centres level with the screen centre. For placement by unit type, screen size and cable hiding, see our TV unit wall lights guide; for step-by-step marking, read our TV wall lighting article.
Rod thickness: 15 mm on Nova 815, 30 mm on Nova 830. Both are 73 cm long and 8 cm wide, with the same body, light colour and power options. The slim rod leaves a light line; the thick rod a bolder column of light.
Two, so one order covers both sides of the screen. The box also holds 4 mounting screws and 4 wall plugs, and the battery option includes 2 × 9V batteries. On plasterboard or hollow panels you may need plugs suited to that surface.
Nova's 73 cm length sits in proportion with 55–65 inch screens in most living rooms. For 75 inches and above, adding indirect light behind the screen completes the balance. With smaller screens, measure the free wall on both sides first; a 73 cm sconce may look too tall.
No, Nova sets have no remote. The battery model uses an on/off switch; for the hardwired model, plan switching with your electrician when connecting the line. To dim or change colour by remote, see the Bubbleflux family, where RGB comes only with the remote-controlled hardwired option.
It depends on usage time and battery brand, so we do not quote a fixed figure. Batteries are included for first use. If you switch the light on briefly in the evening, the battery model is practical. For a TV wall lit for hours every evening, hardwired Nova suits better.
Nova's acrylic crystal rods reflect light onto the wall behind, so it shows mainly on the wall surface as a soft halo around the rod. The effect is stronger on dark or textured walls. Choose warm light for a cosy setting or white light for a crisp look.
Once you have settled on rod thickness and your wall, choose body colour, light colour and power source on the Nova 815 or Nova 830 product page to complete your order.
