This statement describes the personal data processing activities carried out by BACKHOME ELEKTRONİK TASARIM SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“BACKHOME”) based solely on your explicit consent. Giving consent is optional: not giving consent does not prevent you from shopping or becoming a member. You can give each consent separately and withdraw it at any time. General information on the processing of your data is in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
1. Analytics and marketing cookies
At the date of this text, there is no tool on our site that uses analytics or marketing cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). If such a tool is added, it will run only with your permission, it will be listed by name on this page and you will be asked for your preference again.
- Purpose: Measuring how the site is used; understanding which pages and products attract interest and where visitors come to the site from, measuring the effect of advertising and improving the site.
- Data: Cookie ID, IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and on-site interactions (e.g. product views, adding to basket).
- Recipients: The provider of the relevant analytics or advertising service. If the provider’s servers are abroad, the transfer is made under Art. 9 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 9/6-a; the permission given in the cookie banner) or a standard contract with the provider (KVKK Art. 9/4).
- How it is given: With the Accept button in the cookie banner, or by switching on the relevant cookie group under Preferences.
- How it is withdrawn: By switching off the relevant group via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Statement of consent: “I give my explicit consent to the use of analytics and marketing cookies, to the processing of the data obtained through these cookies for the purpose explained above and to its transfer to the service provider.”
2. Promotional and announcement messages
- Purpose: Sending you promotions, new products and announcements.
- Data: Name and surname, email address, phone number; the scope, date and place of the consent.
- Channel: Only the channel stated in the box you ticked to give consent (email or SMS).
- Recipients: The Commercial Electronic Message Management System (İYS) and the service providers we use to send the messages.
- How it is given: By ticking the optional box, which is not pre-ticked, on the membership form, the My Account page, the newsletter form or the checkout page.
- How it is withdrawn: Using the opt-out link in each message, through İYS, on the My Account page or by writing to [email protected]. Details are in the Commercial Electronic Message Consent Statement.
Statement of consent: “I give my explicit consent to the processing of my name and surname and the contact details for which I have given consent, for the purpose of being sent promotional and announcement messages.”
3. Withdrawal of consent
Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent before the withdrawal; the relevant processing stops from the moment you withdraw it. Withdrawing your consent, or never giving it, does not affect your use of the other services on the site.
4. Processing that does not require consent
Processing such as receiving, delivering and invoicing your order and keeping the site secure is based not on explicit consent but on the other legal grounds listed in the KVKK; your consent is not requested for it. Details are in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
