This agreement sets out the terms for opening and using a membership account on the backhome.com.tr website. You must accept this agreement to become a member; you can also shop without becoming a member.

1. Parties

This agreement is concluded between the Seller, whose details are given below, and the person who opens an account by filling in the membership form (the “Member” or “you”).

  • Trade name: BACKHOME ELEKTRONİK TASARIM SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“BACKHOME”)
  • Address: Sahabiye Mahallesi, Nil Caddesi, No: 27/A, Kocasinan / Kayseri

  • Phone: 0533 680 06 85
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Registered email (KEP): [email protected]

2. Subject of the agreement

The subject of this agreement is the terms on which you use the services on the site through your membership account, and the rights and obligations of the parties. Orders you place on the site are also subject to the Distance Sales Agreement.

3. Opening a membership

  • Membership is established when you fill in the membership form with accurate and up-to-date information and accept this agreement. Membership is free of charge.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to become a member.
  • If you become a member on behalf of a company or organisation, you declare that you are authorised to act on behalf of that company or organisation.
  • When your details change, you must update them in your account.

4. Services provided with membership

  • Viewing your orders and their status,
  • Saving your delivery and billing addresses,
  • Listing your favourite products,
  • Updating your account details and your commercial message preference,
  • Creating a return request for orders where the Start Return button appears in the order details.

5. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and not sharing it with others. If you think your account has been used without your permission, change your password and notify us immediately. If you forget your password, you can use the password reset link on the login page.

6. Member’s obligations

You agree to use the site in accordance with the law and this agreement, and not to engage in conduct that disrupts the operation of the site, attempts to access other people’s accounts or infringes the rights of others. The texts, images and designs on the site may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without the permission of the rights holders.

7. Personal data and commercial messages

Information on the personal data processed during your membership is in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

Receiving promotional and announcement messages is optional, and consent is given through a separate box on the membership form that is not pre-ticked; you can become a member without giving consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time on the My Account page or using the opt-out link in the messages. Details are in the Commercial Electronic Message Consent Statement.

Mandatory notifications relating to your orders and membership (e.g. order, shipping and password reset emails) are not commercial messages and are sent regardless of your consent.

8. Changes to the agreement

We may update this agreement only for justified reasons, such as changes in legislation or in the services on the site. The current text is published on this page. We will notify you of changes to your detriment at the email address registered to your account before they take effect; if you do not accept them, you may end your membership free of charge. Orders you have already placed remain subject to the terms in force on the order date.

9. Ending the membership

You may end your membership at any time free of charge. To do so, it is enough to write to [email protected] from the email address registered to your account.

If we find that the account is being used in breach of this agreement or the legislation, we may suspend or close the account after notifying you of this with our reasons. Closing the account does not affect your rights and our obligations relating to orders already placed.

When your account is closed, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised once the statutory retention periods have expired.

10. Disputes

We ask that you bring any complaint to us first; we will do our best to resolve it. This does not limit your statutory rights described below.

For disputes below the monetary limit announced each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, you must apply to the consumer arbitration committee at your place of residence or where the transaction took place. Above that limit, you may file a case at the consumer court, provided that you first apply to a mediator; you may also file the case at the consumer court of your own place of residence. Applications to the arbitration committee can also be made online through the Consumer Information System (TÜBİS) on e-Devlet.

The courts and enforcement offices of Kayseri have jurisdiction over disputes arising from memberships opened for commercial or professional purposes.
